| | Hiking along the Lofty Lake Trail is good fun; there's whitewater on Chalk Creek for all you thrill seekers. It's out of the question to get bored in Utah if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stick around.
This campground is always a pleasure. Mud Lake Flat is a tremendous spot here at Smith and Morehouse Campground, and a journey to Rockport State Park is a splendid idea.

| 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Smith and Morehouse Campground.
