Having a pleasant time in the Uinta Mountains is painless. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lofty Lake Trail, and you simply have to go to Duchesne Monument if you're here at Shady Dell Campground. Utah is a glorious site for outdoors people. A great vista of gorgeous Pitt And Page Hill is available from Shady Dell Campground; Jordanelle State Park is a magnificent location to stretch your legs a bit. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Shady Dell Campground; Notch Mountain Trail is a good local trail; Rock Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby.
