Salt Gulch Trail. Not much precipitation falls here at Pole Campground; most of the rain falls through March; June is the month with the least moisture. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Salina Creek; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Stair Trail.
There's more to do close to Pole Campground other than just hanging out such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. Lots of people stay at Pole Campground to check out close by Fishlake National Forest.
