| | Piute Campground is an old favorite with campers from Junction. This is such a fun place for a campground. Good hiking is available along the Bullion Trail, and visiting Otter Creek State Park is a tremendous thing to do. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the exciting stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. come with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Piute Campground temperatures drop to the 10's. There are great places to explore along the Rocky Ford Trail; a journey to Piute State Park is a delightful idea. The great variety of local attractions
| and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are good incentives to come. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area close to Piute Campground has to offer. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Piute Campground called the Copper Belt Trail; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sevier River. by. Rudd Hollow is close to Piute Campground and is certainly a splendid spot to go to, and the snow is glorious at Elk Meadows. Loads of folks select this campground to be near Piute State Park. Finally, the time is right for camping once more, and Piute Campground in Utah
is a brilliant pick. Going for a hike on the Skyline National Recreation Trail is always a good adventure; why not stop by Piute Dam since you're here. Don't leave Piute Campground without first going for a hike along the Smith Canyon Trail, and of course Swift Spring Creek is
a charming stream that is worth stopping at.
At Piute Campground you don’t see much precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is June. Outdoors folks generally love this section of Utah.
