A glorious site close to Pines Campground is Hop Canyon, and Pine Valley Reservoir Dam is a striking place, definitely worth stopping at. a place this is for outdoors folks. Everybody loves Snow Canyon State Park, and hiking along the Point Trail is splendid fun. A splendid vista of pretty Gardner Peak is available from Pines Campground, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Oak Grove Trail.
