There are some great whitewater spots on Ogden River - South Fork; nearby you discover Critian Hollow which is a fine spot to go to. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.

| the dark hours in the winter at Meadows Campground temperatures plunge to the 10's.
All year is a fine time in the Wasatch Range if you love the outdoors. If the weather is magnificent here at Meadows Campground, you can go for a hike along the Skyline Trail, and get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Blacksmith Fork. And that's not all you can do here at Meadows Campground. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Powder Mountain, and you'll probably meet some folks from Huntsville here.
