place nearby. As if Maple Cove Campground wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer. Near Maple Cove Campground you locate the Mount Timpanogos Trail
which is a good hiking trail, and Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail is a very great place to stop at. You clearly have to like Maple Cove Campground. If you come at the right time of year, Big Cottonwood Creek offers some good whitewater; you'll meet a lot of folks from Salt Lake City here. If you are in Utah through camping season, you should go camping.
