Campground, and a round of golf at nearby Tooele City Golf Course is a tremendous way to kill some time. Legion Park Campground is not far at all from Tooele; if you have time to spare, California National Historic Trail is a national park worth taking a look at. Outdoors recreation
is plentiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is playing golf, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
Coming to this campground is always a good idea. Camp Floyd/Stagecoach Inn State Park is a tremendous
place to stretch your legs a bit; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Oquirrh Hills Golf Course is in the neighborhood. This campground is so pretty. Paddling on Little Cottonwood Creek is so much fun, and playing golf is lots of fun at Overlake Golf Course.
Legion Park Campground is pretty dehydrated commonly; most of the rain falls during April while January is mostly the driest month. Whitewater paddling is great on Jordan River, and when you're here it's always fun to stop by Great Salt Lake State Park.
