Not much rain falls here at Jefferson Hunt Campground; the month with most of the rain is April while July is mostly the driest month. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Wasatch Range. South Branch South Fork Ogden River is
close to Jefferson Hunt Campground and is always a delight to go to, and the Skyline Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll stumble on a striking lake called Northwest Reservoir near Jefferson Hunt Campground, and while you're here why not pop by Spring Hollow. And if that's
not sufficient there's a load more fun stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. Wasatch-Cache National Forest is a pretty spot any time of year, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ogden River. Lots of fun is at this campground. If time allows,
California National Historic Trail is a national park worth visiting. Be careful coming to Jefferson Hunt Campground, you might not ever want to return home again. The slopes of Snowbasin are so inviting noone can resist, and places like Fort Buenaventura State Park are great to check out.
