All year is a magnificent time in the Uinta Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. On a nice day at Henrys Fork Campground you can take a hike along the Shale Dugway, and you're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Evanston here.
This is a wonderful campground. There's
whitewater on Blacks Fork - West Fork for all you adrenaline kick people; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the High Line Trail.
The good variety of local attractions and so much to do are nice incentives to come. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this
place. Starvation State Park is a splendid location to stretch your legs a bit, and lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Alligator Lake.
Henrys Fork Campground is ordinarily a quite waterless place; most of the rain falls throughout September, and the driest month
is January. Joulious Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here, and nearby you locate the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
