Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Henrys Fork Campground fall into the 0's.
 
All year is a magnificent time in the Uinta Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. On a nice day at Henrys Fork Campground you can take a hike along the Shale Dugway, and you're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Evanston here.
This is a wonderful campground. There's whitewater on Blacks Fork - West Fork for all you adrenaline kick people; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the High Line Trail.
The good variety of local attractions and so much to do are nice incentives to come. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Starvation State Park is a splendid location to stretch your legs a bit, and lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Alligator Lake.
Henrys Fork Campground is ordinarily a quite waterless place; most of the rain falls throughout September, and the driest month is January. Joulious Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here, and nearby you locate the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
