When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Ferron Campground dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. are good causes to come. This is such a pretty campground. Going for a hike along the Dry Wash Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you're here, do take a visit to Harmonica Point. At Ferron Campground you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest
month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Ferron Campground. If you get bored of Ferron Campground, you could also explore nearby Duck Fork Reservoir;
if you come at the right time of year, Ferron Creek offers some delightful whitewater. Have a great hiking adventure along the Blue Trail, and Palisade State Park is both pleasant and striking.
