Wasatch Mountain State Park is a good place to stretch your legs a bit, and if you come at the right time of year, Provo River offers some brilliant whitewater. Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do in the vicinity of Echo Campground. Going for a hike on the The Sheep Trail is always a good adventure, and since you're here you can play some golf at Cedar Hills Golf Club. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wasatch Range. The Indian Trail is a fine hiking trail near Echo Campground; Tibble Fork is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. Snowbird is a very popular ski area nearby; since you're here why not take a look at South Fork American Fork Canyon.
