High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Echo Campground. Echo Campground is situated in the Wasatch Range. Deer Creek State Park is a scenic location any time of year; there are some good whitewater spots on Big Cottonwood Creek. Echo Campground is a very popular campground among visitors from Pleasant Grove. Just can't get enough of the Wasatch Range. If you haven’t been to California National Historic Trail, you must schedule some time for it since you're here. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back over and over. Lots of folks camp here to be close to Timpanogos Cave National Monument. But wait, there's more to do close to Echo Campground. Snowbird is a nice local ski area; get yourself into a kayak and hit Provo River. Echo Campground is ordinarily a relatively waterless location; all through the month of April you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
