This portion of Provo River is appropriate for kayak paddlers who have been kayak paddling for a period of time but who are not yet prepared for the especially hazardous rapids. Whitewater rapids are hazardous matters, so you ought to check circumstances before you go. Don't leave Cobblerest Campground without dropping by Rockport State Park, and if the weather is pretty, you get a tremendous panorama of Iron Mine Mountain from Cobblerest Campground. And that's not all there is to do here in the Uinta  
Mountains. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Cobblerest Campground called the Littles Fork Trail, and needless to say Cobble Creek flows through this area.
