Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Butterfly Campground tend to be in the 10's. There's more to do close to Butterfly Campground other than just hanging out such as swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so almost certainly you want to stay for a while. | |

This is a glorious campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Duchesne River; Ashley National Forest is worth visiting. So much amusing stuff in the Uinta Mountains, just fantastic. Soar down the rapids of Rock Creek in a kayak, and Hayden Peak is clearly visible from Butterfly
Campground. Quite a lot of fun stuff to do in the vicinity of Butterfly Campground, and it is a fun site for young and old. While going to this region in Utah it's a good idea to go for a weekend of camping too. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always delightful. And that's
not all there is to do here in the Uinta Mountains. A journey to Butterfly Campground wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Jordanelle State Park, and Butterfly Campground is right by the Lofty Lake Trail. Such a brilliant choice of attractions and the brilliant variety of outdoors recreation are tremendous motives to come.
