  Bald Mountain Campground truly is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Bald Mountain Pass is a wonderful place to look at, and don't leave Bald Mountain Campground without first going for a hike along the Skinner Cutoff Trail. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uinta Mountains. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Blacks Fork - West Fork, and you can go for a hike on the Highline Trail. So many entertaining things close to Bald Mountain Campground; camping is such a fun thing to do, and this
    is a good location to do that.

You could also go to Echo Lake while you're here at Bald Mountain Campground; it's close by, and there are great sites to explore along the Notch Mountain Trail. It is very waterless here at Bald Mountain Campground commonly; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most snow, and the driest month of the year is June. There's good hiking along the East Fork Pinto Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rock Creek.
Bald Mountain Campground is a nice camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Uinta Mountains.
