Don't leave Bald Mountain Campground without first going for a hike along the Lofty Lake Trail, and you'll hit upon a pretty lake called Echo Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bald Mountain Campground; Highline Trail is a great local trail; the top of Bald Mountain is easily observed from Bald Mountain Campground. highs in the 80's to Bald Mountain Campground. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows during the wintertime for Bald Mountain Campground tend to be in the 10's. There's plenty of outdoors
recreation available close by such as fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. Bald Mountain Campground is a brilliant camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Uinta Mountains. This campground is so delightful. There are some nice whitewater
spots on Rock Creek; Reids Meadow is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Uinta Mountains. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Blacks Fork - West Fork, and since you're here why not go to Bald Mountain Pass.
