This campground is so great. You could also go to Echo Lake while you're here at Bald Mountain Campground; it's close by, and there are great sites to explore along the Notch Mountain Trail. It is very waterless here at Bald Mountain Campground commonly; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most snow, and the driest month of the year is June. There's good hiking along the East Fork Pinto Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rock Creek. Bald Mountain Campground is a nice camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Uinta Mountains.
