Aside from just the campground the main ''Coridor'' of the Park has several Picnic sites with rest-rooms, as well as 5 or 6 secluded, single       group campsites, that arent in the campground itself. These are, in MY opinion the better places to camp, as they are all close enough to a picnic area to walk to use the restroom. There is also a relitively deep ''swimming hole''   and picknic area called Dudley Falls. It is located about halfway into the corridor. There are cliffs to dive from, for the thrill seeker, as well as Paint Rock, located at the emergence of Paint Creek into The French Broad River. Paint Rock is a 160 foot, Sheer vertical, limestone Cliff. PERFECT for rappelling, again for the thrill seeker in all of us!! As a Greene County Native, I may be Biased, but I honestly think Paint Creek Recreational area is       one of the Finest examples of what the Great Smokey Mountains have to offer. The trees offer privacy not found in many campgrounds and the   creek provides swimming, fishing, and fun for the family. We bike and have a wonderful time. It is so cool there all year around and a perfect place to camp in a tent, pop-up or larger camper. We love it!
