Nantahala National Forest is worth a visit if you're at Chimneys Campground, and the Sugarland Mountain Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. Park. Get your sleeping bag packed and leave the city behind; Chimneys Campground in Tennessee is just what you need. Good hiking is available along the Meigs Mountain Trail, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Walker Camp Prong. Such a magnificent selection of attractions

There's a lot of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Chimneys Campground rocks! called the Cove Mountain Trail, and the cheerful people of Gatlinburg like to hang out nearby. Go for a hike on the Laurel Falls Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Ober Gatlinburg is pretty near. So many fun things in the Great Smoky Mountains, just unbelievable. Since
you're here at Chimneys Campground why not go to Bearpen Hollow, and going for a hike on the Jakes Creek Trail is always a nice adventure. This camp ground is one of the magnificent places to camp here in the Great Smoky Mountains. A campground like this is too splendid to
miss. Everybody loves Beech Flats, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Pigeon River - West Prong. All the outdoors cool things in close proximity to Chimneys Campground will keep you coming back many times. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a fine national park. This
campground is so splendid. If you come at the right time of year, Little Pigeon River - Middle Prong offers some great whitewater, and why not stop at nearby Road Prong if you're here at Chimneys Campground. Summertime highs at Chimneys Campground mostly tend to be in the 80's.
Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Chimneys Campground during the winter generally plunge into the 20's.
