If you like the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. Just can't get enough of Timon Campground. While you're here at Timon Campground you can take a hike along the Iron Creek Trail; the Big Hill Ski Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This is such a fun site for a campground. There is a good hiking trail near Timon Campground called the Bear Gulch Trail; Schoolhouse Gulch is another good spot to visit nearby. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Black Hills.
