Dutchman Campground, Black Hills, South Dakota Custom Search   I can only speak about Deerfield lake and it is beautiful. The fishing is also good. Have caught my limit of trout on every visit. It's not crowded at all. A very nice place to get some peace and quiet. Some of the things you can do here at Dutchman Campground are swimming, whitewater     paddling, fishing, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. This camp ground is situated in the lovely Black Hills. Really fine skiing awaits you at Terry Peak; Custer State Park is worth going to. This campground has so incredibly much. Dutchman Creek is in close proximity to Dutchman Campground and is always a bliss to take a look at, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail. Dutchman Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks in Hill City. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Black Hills. This is a delightful area for folks who like lakes. Deerfield Lake is a lake close at hand, and the Willow Creek Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. South Dakota has scores of outdoors activities. If you have a thing   about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Black Hills. While you're here at Dutchman Campground you will meet lots of folks from nearby Hill City; if you're looking for a tremendous visit, Mount Rushmore National Memorial is quite near. Yeah, come here to Dutchman Campground for a nice time. Hiking along the Silver Arrow Trail is nice fun, and popping by Jewel Cave National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. It is very dry here at Dutchman Campground usually; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is ordinarily the driest month. Scores of fun is at this campground. Get wet paddling on Whitewood Creek, and Deerfield Dam is a location that is in close proximity to Dutchman Campground. Ok, you've been indoors for too much time, time's here for camping; Dutchman Campground in South Dakota is a magnificent spot to go. If you come at the right time of year, Battle Creek offers some magnificent whitewater, and do take a hike on the Rapid Creek Trail. This place, Dutchman Campground, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Going for a hike along the Sunday Gulch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dutchman Campground. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Dutchman Campground temperatures drop to the 10's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Spearfish Creek, and a tour here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to nearby Bear Butte State Park.
