Canyon Campground, Black Hills, South Dakota   So much entertaining stuff near Canyon Campground; it really is a wonderful campground. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area right next door to Canyon Campground has to offer. Good hiking is available along the Beaver Ridge Trail, and nearby Robison Gulch is a perfect location to go. This campground is so pretty. Not much precipitation falls here at Canyon Campground; during June this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. As long as you go for the outdoors you will go for South Dakota. All     the great local attractions in the vicinity and such an incredible array of things to do will undeniably have you coming back persistently. Canyon Campground is exceptionally well prized by the people from Spearfish. Go for a hike on the Big Hill Ski Trail, and one of the main highlights of the surroundings of Canyon Campground is Spearfish Peak. Hey, it's been too long since you went outside, time to get out; Canyon Campground in South Dakota is a really wonderful spot to spend some time. There are some good whitewater spots on Spearfish Creek, and there's tremendous hiking along the Iron Creek Trail. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more fun stuff to do in the Black Hills. Bear Butte State Park is worth going to if you're at Canyon Campground, and if you're visiting from Spearfish, you won't be the only one.   Through the summertime, highs regularly are in the 80's at Canyon Campground. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 30's while Canyon Campground overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's hiking, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. This camp ground is one of the magnificent places to camp here in the Black Hills. Coming to this campground is always a splendid idea. The Pettigrew Trail offers hiking at its best; Spearfish Canyon Golf Course is a tremendous golf course nearby. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Black Hills. Don't leave Canyon Campground without first going for a hike along the Rim Rock Trail; the skiing at Terry Peak is pleasant.
