A good site like Hamilton Branch State Park right next door to Lick Fork Campground     is too delightful to leave out; a quick trip to Miller Branch is beyond doubt a good idea. This is a popular place for people from Edgefield; golf can be played at Mount Vintage Plantation Golf Club. A tour to Baker Creek State Park when you're here at Lick Fork Campground is a great idea, and there are perfect spots to look at along the Horn Creek Hiking Trail. Lick Fork Campground is a wet spot that gets lots of rainfall; most of the rain falls through March, and the driest month of the year is November. A visit to South Carolina is not complete without some camping. Everybody needs to go for a camping trip once in a while; Lick Fork Campground in South Carolina is just the site.
