Summertime highs at Forks Campground ordinarily tend to be in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Forks Campground. There's a heap of outdoors recreation available close by such as hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so running out   of exciting things to do won’t happen. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stevens Creek, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Horn Creek Hiking Trail. Forks Campground is a relatively wet place commonly with a good deal of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain; November is when it's the driest. All the great local attractions close by and so many things to do are good incentives to come. At Forks Campground you always meet someone from Clarks Hill, and Savannah River is a great whitewater spot nearby.
