| | This is a good campground. Gotta ski! Tussey Mountain is a perfect site to do that; on a good day you can take a hike along the Sheep Rock Trail. Summertime at Valley Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Valley Campground. Ok, you've been indoors for too much time, time has come to get out, and Valley Campground is a good local campground if you happen to be in Pennsylvania.

the glorious local attractions nearby and the close by outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back persistently. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Yellow Creek; there are great sites to look at along the Rainbow Trail.
| A great place to visit close to Valley Campground is Walkers Hollow; there are some good whitewater spots on Sideling Hill Creek. As if Valley Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so it's not possible to get bored. From Valley Campground you acquire a magnificent sight of Horse Knob, and you can go for a hike on the Indian Trail.

This campground is so good. If you come at the right time of year, Great Trough Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. Valley Campground is positioned in a region with scores of enjoyable stuff to do, and campgrounds like these are good.
Valley Campground gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January.
