Wampus Campground gets very little rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. During the summertime at Wampus Campground highs are regularly in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Wampus Campground are in the 10's. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is abundant here in the Central Cascade Range. |

Range. Some of the things you can do here at Wampus Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's impossible to get bored. Going for a hike on the Cultus Lake Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and a swamp like Dilman Meadows close to Wampus Campground has lots
of exciting things to see. So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are brilliant causes to come. Lots of fun is at this campground. Paddling on Deschutes River is so much fun, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Corral Swamp Trail. This campground
is a good location to check out. Pringle Falls Experimental Forest is worth going to, and Wampus Butte is picturesque and can be made out from here. LaPine State Recreation Area is a brilliant place to stop at on a delightful day; on a good day you can take a hike along the Lucky Lake Trail. There are so many amusing things in close proximity to Wampus Campground, and it's always fun being here.
