    Hood Ski Bowl. Mt. Hood Ski Bowl has a drop from top to bottom of 1,500 feet and gets covered by 25 feet of ice cold snow yearly. Mt. Hood Ski Bowl has 960 acres to ski on; 60% of the ski runs are beginner and intermediate which is
  tremendous for beginners; 40% of the ski runs are challenging. The 6 great ski lifts at the nearby ski hill Timberline Lodge carry skiers up to the tops of the 32 ski slopes at Timberline Lodge. This nearby ski hill obtains 46 feet of good snow every year and has a vertical drop of 3,590 feet. 1,000 acres of skiing land is on hand at Timberline Lodge; easy ski slopes account for 80% while advanced and expert ski slopes make up 20% of the ski slopes.
