  Smith Springs Campground is a very well prized campground by the people of Idleyld Park. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, you have to get out, and Smith Springs Campground, Oregon is a nice place for getting out. Oregon is a nice outdoors state. That right there is heaps of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. The Mott Trail offers hiking at its best; a pleasant location like Clyde Holliday State Park is too pleasant to
    leave out.

There's magnificent hiking along the Williams Creek Trail, and a pleasant site for whitewater paddling is Umpqua River - North. This campground is always a joy. Take a hike on the Straight Creek Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Little River. Susan Creek is near Smith Springs Campground and is always a diversion to pop by; there are plenty of folks from Idleyld Park here at Smith Springs Campground.
Smith Springs Campground is a relatively wet place typically with lots of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stick around. This is such a fun spot for a campground.
The Central Cascade Range scenery is always pretty.
