The Lost Camp Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Slim Chance Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Copland Creek offers some great whitewater. This is such a great campground. Good hiking is available along the Boulder Creek Trail; whitewater     paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Steamboat Creek. This is such a scenic campground. Don't leave Slim Chance Campground without visiting Fall Creek State Park. There are so many exciting things near Slim Chance Campground; when you're here you're always having a magnificent time. At Slim Chance Campground through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; overnight lows in the 30's for Slim Chance Campground. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Oregon. Go for a hike on the Bristow Trail, and Reynolds Butte is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Slim Chance Campground. There's some flowing water close by, Homestead Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here,   and float down the rapids of Steamboat Creek in a kayak. Camping out really is a pleasant thing to do; Slim Chance Campground in Oregon is a really magnificent site to spend some time. Man, is there loads of cool things to do right next door to Slim Chance Campground. Near Slim Chance Campground you discover the Grassy Ranch Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and Clyde Holliday State Park is a brilliant place to go. Slim Chance Campground is a perfect camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Central Cascade Range. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Going for a hike on the Skeeter Camp Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and some attention-grabbing geology is available here, Firemans Leap is right here. Slim Chance Campground gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is November while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
