Shadow Falls Campground is a nice camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Central Cascade Range. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. White Rock Trail is 2.7 miles from start to finish. This pretty wilderness hiking trail has a variation in altitude of 1,871 feet. Hiking the White Rock Trail,
 
    a tough wilderness hiking trail, takes something like three and a half hours. Straight Creek Trail in close proximity has a variation between top and bottom of 2,918 feet. This hiking trail is 4.3 miles of scenic backpacking in the
  great outdoors. There's no nicer way to spend six hours than to hike the hard Straight Creek Trail. Red Butte Trail has a difference between top and bottom of 1,909 feet; this picturesque wilderness trail is 8.6 miles long. About one and a half days of demanding backcountry hiking on the Red Butte Trail is time well consumed. Williams Creek Trail is a pretty great outdoors hiking trail; it's 5.
