Campground during the months of summer highs are in the 70's; the night is a tad cooler of course, typically in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Salmon River Campground fall into the 30's.
At this campground you will always have a glorious time. Timberline Lodge has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff; during your journey here you'll meet some people from Government Camp for sure. If you go for the outdoors, you'll love Salmon River Campground. West Fork Salmon River is a pleasant local stream; you can go for a hike on the Umbrella Falls Trail.
