There are nice spots to explore along the Tom Dick Trail; needless to say, everyone loves Mount Hood National Forest. At Salmon River Campground during the months of summer highs are in the 70's; the night is a tad cooler of course, typically in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Salmon River Campground fall into the 30's. At this campground you will always have a glorious time. Timberline Lodge has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff; during your journey here you'll meet some people from Government Camp for sure.
