There are so many amusing things in the vicinity of Saddle Campground, and it is a pleasant escape from the mundane. Just can't get enough of the Southern Cascade Range. There's glorious hiking along the South Fork Trail, and places like Joseph H. Stewart State Park are tremendous to go to. During the warm days of summer highs here at Saddle Campground reach the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 40's with temperatures at Saddle Campground dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
