  There are so many amusing things right next door to Ray Cole Campground, and to be at this place is always fun. At Ray Cole Campground all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Ray Cole Campground are in the 20's. The Blue Mountains scenery is always pretty.

Alder Gulch is a great place to discover, and do take a hike on the Joaquin Miller Trail. Be careful coming to the Blue Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. There are plenty of folks from Canyon City here at Ray Cole Campground, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the East Fork Canyon Trail. Ray Cole Campground gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and July is when it's the driest.
