  If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Central Cascade Range. Places like Summit Meadows are glorious to stop by, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Tom Dick Trail. Paddling on White River is so much fun; hiking along the Hidden Lake Trail is magnificent fun. This campground is so delightful. Head up to Mt. Hood Ski Bowl and strap some skis to your feet; in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hood River - Lake Branch. The delightful local attractions and so much
 
stuff to do are good motives to come. Nanitch Campground sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during December this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is July.
