| | Camping in Oregon is such a fun activity. This campground is so fine. The nice people of Central Point like to hang out close by, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Butte Creek. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Millpond Campground temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows at Millpond Campground all through the winter commonly fall into the 20's.

nice whitewater spots on Umpqua River - South. Getting to Dean Creek from Millpond Campground is easy; you can take a little tour to Medford Forest Nursery Dam while you're here at Millpond Campground.
A trip to Oregon Caves National Monument is worthwhile. You'll really wish
for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Siskiyou Mountains. Casey State Park is a great place, and good skiing awaits you at Mt. Ashland.
Enjoy a round of golf at Laurel Hill Golf Course not far from Millpond Campground, and Valley of the Rogue State Park
is a good spot to take a look at. The nice local attractions and such a nice variety of outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back many times. There's more to do in close proximity to Millpond Campground other than just hanging out such as swimming, fishing, hiking,
whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
Millpond Campground is extremely well liked by people in Central Point. There's absolutely no way to run out of enjoyable stuff to do in close proximity to Millpond Campground; what a great place for camping it is.
