wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. At Lower Twin Campground all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Lower Twin Campground.

Some of the things you can do here at Lower Twin Campground are fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. At Lower Twin Campground you always meet someone from Government Camp, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend White River.
This campground has so many amusing things to offer. Going to Mount Hood National Forest close to Lower Twin Campground is a great thing to do, and Lower Twin Campground is right by the Driveway Trail. What a site this is for outdoors folks. A journey to Starvation Creek State Park when you're here at Lower Twin Campground is never a bad idea. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Gnarl Ridge Trail, and the top of Bird Butte is easily made out from Lower Twin Campground.
