Lower Twin Campground, Central Cascade Range, Oregon   This camp ground is one of the glorious places to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. The Umbrella Falls Trail is a brilliant hiking trail right next door to Lower Twin Campground, and you can run the rapids of Hood River - Lake Branch. Go for a hike on the Driveway Trail; at Lower Twin Campground you always meet someone from Government Camp. This campground is a great place to explore. Good hiking is available along the Timberline Trail, and Starvation Creek State Park is a wonderful location any time of year. Lower Twin Campground is a quite wet place generally with a great deal of rain; December is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
