If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This campground is so charming. A journey to Kinzel Lake Campground wouldn’t be complete without a journey to nearby Mount Hood National Forest, and hiking along the Hambone Trail is wonderful fun. This camp ground is to be found in the charming Central Cascade Range. The view of pretty Devils Peak near Kinzel Lake Campground is great; a visit to John B. Yeon State Park is a perfect idea. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Sandy River, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Devils Canyon Trail. Just can't get enough of the Central   Cascade Range. Soar down the rapids of Zigzag River in a kayak, and Kinzel Lake Campground is right by the Cool Creek Trail. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Some close by water includes Draw Creek; do take a hike on the Still Creek Trail.
