Haymaker Campground in Oregon is the outdoors at its most excellent. Hamaker Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth a visit, and going for a hike on the Rim Rock Trail is always a fine adventure. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable
| stuff in the Southern Cascade Range. Hamaker Butte is clearly visible from Haymaker Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Copland Creek. There's such a large number of things to do at Haymaker Campground including whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen. If you come at the right time of year, Rogue River - North Fork offers some pleasant whitewater, and great hiking is available along the Beaver Meadows Trail. to camp here in the Southern Cascade Range. This is such a perfect campground. Places like Rogue River National Forest are good to stop at, and there are great sites to look at along the Three Lakes Trail. Oregon has so much stuff to offer nature lovers. If only every place
had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great world it would be. A pleasant journey to Hamaker Meadows is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon; there's nice hiking along the Meadow Creek Trail. A lot of rainfall falls at Haymaker Campground; during the month of November
you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is July. This is such a delightful campground. Bobs Bay is an out of the ordinary swamp in the vicinity of Haymaker Campground, and Clyde Holliday State Park is a good location. Summer brings highs in the 80's
to Haymaker Campground. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Haymaker Campground plunge into the 20's.
