Fopian Campground, Blue Mountains, Oregon   A number of folks choose Fopian Campground when going to Malheur National Forest. Through the summertime here at Fopian Campground, high temperatures usually get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 30's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's while Fopian Campground overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Fopian Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Blue Mountains. When you're here at Fopian Campground it's always   fun to visit Malheur National Forest, and the Snowshoe Creek Trail is a good hiking trail close by. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Unity Lake State Park is a wonderful site to stretch your legs a bit, and if you like swamps you're in luck, The Swamp is right nearby. Fopian Campground is a location that is relatively dehydrated typically; most of the snow falls during December, and the driest month of the year is July. This campground is so lovely. Fopian Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Grouse Spring Trail.
