There is a good hiking trail right next door to Elbow Lake Campground called the Threemile Lake Trail; get wet paddling on Coos River - South Fork.

want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Coast Ranges. Very fine water scenery is available at Tahkenitch Lake Dam close to Elbow Lake Campground; unsurprisingly Elbow Lake Creek flows through this area. Soar down the rapids of Siuslaw River in a kayak,
| and a round of golf at nearby Forest Hills Country Club is a fine way to kill some time.
This is really a great campground. Lots of people camp here so they can go to Umpqua Lighthouse State Park.
