Drift Campground, Central Cascade Range, Oregon   Throughout the warm months, highs generally are in the 70's at Drift Campground, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Drift Campground dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Lots of people stay at this campground for the purpose of being in the neighborhood of The Cove Palisades State Park. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always picturesque. While you're here at Drift Campground you can take a hike along the Jefferson Creek Trail, and a tour here wouldn’t be     complete without a journey to nearby Peter Skene Ogden State Park. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Metolius River, and The Cove Palisades State Park is worth taking a look at. This is such a brilliant campground. There is so much amusing stuff to do near Drift Campground; when you are here for a while you will feel like another person. The pleasant local attractions and such a great deal of things to do will certainly have you coming back repeatedly. But wait, there's more to do near Drift Campground. Take a hike on the Camp One Trail; there's some flowing water nearby, Drift Creek is a stream you can pop by while here. Drift Campground sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that   rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. Some of the things you can do here at Drift Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen. This campground is so brilliant. If you come at the right time of year, Deschutes River offers some great whitewater, and what would winter be without some skiing at Hoodoo. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Crooked River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Reservation Trail. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is bountiful here in the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike along the Jefferson Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; hiking along the Sugar Pine Ridge Trail is magnificent fun.
