Drift Campground, Central Cascade Range, Oregon   Oregon is a fine place for campers. Scores of people opt for Drift Campground in order to be close to The Cove Palisades State Park. Drift Campground is near Peter Skene Ogden State Park which is a pretty site, and if you come at the right time of year, Deschutes River offers some wonderful whitewater. At this campground you will always have a pleasant time. Float down the rapids of Metolius     River in a kayak, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Camp One Trail. All through the days of summer here at Drift Campground, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Drift Campground. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. At Drift Campground exciting stuff to do is bountiful, and it is a fine escape from the ordinary. Hey, you've been indoors for too much time, time's here for camping, and Drift Campground in Oregon is the outdoors at its greatest. This camp ground is one of the good places to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. And if that's not sufficient,   there's heaps more to do in the neighborhood of Drift Campground. Going for a hike on the Jefferson Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Crooked River. This campground is a beautiful place to take a look at. The Cove Palisades State Park is both nice and beautiful, and it's near Drift Campground; going for a hike along the Reservation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back time and again. Gotta ski! Hoodoo is a good site to do that; do have a look at Drift Creek if you're here at Drift Campground. Such a fine choice of attractions and all the outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back repeatedly. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a splendid time. Near Drift Campground you come across the Jefferson Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and the Sugar Pine Ridge Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
