Dovre Campground, Coast Ranges, Oregon   This camp ground is one of the pleasant locations to camp here in the Coast Ranges. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Jordan Creek. The surroundings of this campground have such an incredible array of things to offer. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Yamhill River - South, and if you come at the right time of year, Trask River - North Fork offers some good whitewater. Scores of folks pick this campground when they come to stop by Manhattan Beach State Park. All year is a tremendous time in     the Coast Ranges if you have a thing about the outdoors. Manhattan Beach State Park is both magnificent and delightful, and it's in the vicinity of Dovre Campground, and a quick trip to Ginger Creek is absolutely a delightful idea. There's more to do close to Dovre Campground other than just hanging out such as fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stay a while. When you're here at Dovre Campground it's always fun to visit Munson Creek State Park, and if you get bored of Dovre Campground you could also go to close by Meadow Lake. While stopping by this region in Oregon it's a splendid idea to go camping for a couple of days too. The great selection of local attractions, and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Dovre Campground is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. During the long summer days at Dovre Campground temperatures are mostly in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Dovre Campground are in the 30's.
