Deerhorn Creek is a nice local stream. This campground is always a diversion. There are plenty of folks from Bates here at Deerhorn Campground, and since you're here, you could also explore beautiful Bates Pond. The great variety of local attractions and such a great variety of
outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. If the weather is tremendous here at Deerhorn Campground, you can go for a hike along the Big Boulder Trail; whitewater paddling is splendid on John Day River - North Fork. The Blue Mountains scenery is always wonderful.
Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Blue Mountains is great! Have a great hiking adventure along the Lost Lake Trail, and do take a hike on the Reynolds Creek Trail. It's completely out of the question to run out of amusing things to do next to Deerhorn Campground; it's always fun being here. Oregon is a great location for campers.
