Dam Campground, Central Cascade Range, Oregon   A good deal of rainfall falls at Dam Campground; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; July is the month with the least moisture. There is a great hiking trail next to Dam Campground called the Rimrock Trail; the smiling people of Hood River like to hang out nearby. Dam Campground is situated in the Central Cascade Range. All through the summer months at Dam Campground temperatures are usually in the 60's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Dam Campground fall into the 20's. On a perfect day at Dam Campground you can take a hike along the Pine Creek Trail, and why not a little side trip to Lost Creek. Such a great   selection of attractions and all the outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back over and over. Hey, it's the right time to go camping, wouldn't you agree? Dam Campground in Oregon is such a pleasant site. This campground has so unbelievably much. The view of Post Point from Dam Campground is picturesque, and paddling on Hood River - East Fork is so much fun. There's loads of outdoors recreation available in close proximity such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's totally impossible to get bored. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Dam Campground has it all. If the weather is nice here at Dam Campground, you can go for a hike along the Threemile Trail, and the skiing at Cooper Spur is pleasant. Dobry Point is a wonderful spot to explore while in the vicinity, and going for a hike on the Swamp Creek Hidden Meadows Trail is always a brilliant adventure.
