Clinger Campground is extremely popular with the folks from Mount Hood Parkdale. Clinger Campground is one of the locations to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Clinger Campground; Lookout Mountain Trail is a brilliant local trail, and there's whitewater on White River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. The high level of rain makes Clinger Campground a reasonably wet spot; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the   driest. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Go for a hike on the Dog River Trail, and visiting Seneca Fouts Memorial State Park is a fine thing to do. It's totally impossible to get bored in Oregon if you have a thing about the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Hood River - East Fork; there's good hiking along the Lamberson Butte Spur Trail. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Clinger Campground. You could also check out Jean Lake if you're here at Clinger Campground; it's close by; a pleasant spree to Horkelia Meadow is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. A spree to Wygant State Park when you're here at Clinger Campground is never a bad idea. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the fun stuff you can do is hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. This campground has so many fun things to offer. The good folks of Mount Hood Parkdale like to hang out nearby, and going for a hike on the Zigzag Trail is always a splendid adventure. Such a wonderful selection of attractions and so many things to do are certain to keep you coming back again and again.
