| | Have you been to the Bighorn campground site???While this is a beautiful pack-in, primitive site, it doesn't fit with your description. Before camping, take a hike on Nat. Forest Trail 742, without gear. After you've scoped the area, come back and stay. Even on Labor Day Weekend ('06) there were several campsites available in this dispersed camp area. to happen. Looking for some flowing water? Try Bighorn Creek, and Bighorn Campground is not far at all from Welches. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Central Cascade Range. Get soaked paddling on Sandy River; the Still Creek Trail is a splendid hiking trail
| close by. Quite a lot of exciting things to do close to Bighorn Campground, and camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a great place to do that. Many people camp here when going to Mount Hood National Forest. This campground is a wonderful place to visit. Whitewater paddling is fine on Sandy River; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl while you're here. Campground; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. During the summer months at Bighorn Campground highs are frequently in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the
40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Bighorn Campground. Zigzag River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the West Zigzag Mountain Trail.

At this campground you will always have a great time. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Hambone Trail. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike along the Flag Mountain Trail will let you absorb
the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and don't leave without going to Mount Hood National Forest. This camp ground is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. A visit to Oregon is not complete without some camping. You've been indoors for too long, you've got
to get out of the house, and Bighorn Campground in Oregon is a really great place to spend some time. Yeah, come here to Bighorn Campground for a magnificent time. A glorious site like John B. Yeon State Park in the neighborhood of Bighorn Campground is too nice to leave out, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Cool Creek Trail.
