  There is so much exciting stuff to do near Big Twin Lakes Campground, and camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a magnificent spot to do that. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so most likely you want to stay a bit. Going for a weekend of camping here in Oregon is something you have to do.
And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more amusing things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do
    here at Big Twin Lakes Campground. On a gorgeous day you obtain a vista of Twin Lakes Mountain from Big Twin Lakes Campground, and if you're here you can take a hike along the BVD Trail. At Big Twin Lakes Campground all through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and during
the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Big Twin Lakes Campground.
Don't leave Big Twin Lakes Campground without going to Clyde Holliday State Park, and going for a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
Some people opt for Big Twin Lakes Campground in order to be in close proximity to Clyde Holliday State Park. Hey, it's been too long since you went outside, time to get out, and Big Twin Lakes Campground
 
in Oregon is a really magnificent spot to spend some time. This is such a good campground. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Copland Creek; nearby you find the Spring Mountain Way which is a pleasant hiking trail.
The Central Cascade Range scenery is always wonderful. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Steamboat Creek, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Deception Way.
A good place like Joseph H. Stewart State Park in close proximity to Big Twin Lakes Campground is too tremendous to leave out; there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Copeland Creek Trail.
The high level of precipitation makes Big Twin Lakes Campground a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls through November; July is the month with the least moisture.
