A good 5.7-mile-in-length whitewater run on Copland Creek is close by. This, the Second Bridge to North Umpqua portion, is a type IV(V). This run of Copland Creek is a tough run for whitewater rafting and kayaking.
  Don't go whitewater rafting and kayaking prior to first checking the situation; it's risky business. A great 11.2-mile-long lovely backpacking and hiking trail boasting a difference in height of 4,061 feet can be found close by; this is the Twin Lakes Trail. Twin Lakes Trail takes two days to backcountry trek; it's a challenging backpacking and hiking trail.
