Generally this stretch of Coquille River - South Fork is a difficult place for whitewater kayaking or rafting. Whitewater rapids are treacherous things, so you should check the latest conditions ahead of going. Trail is a scenic wilderness trail in possession of a great 1,019-foot variation in altitude. Everybody loves Hoffman Memorial State Park, and lots of folks from Powers come here.
