Park, and hiking along the Bear Camp Trail is pleasant fun. A lot of folks stay at this campground when going to Coquille Myrtle Grove State Park.
This camp ground is one of the delightful places to camp here in the Coast Ranges. Big Tree Campground is a campground rather frequently visited by the residents of Powers. A visit to Oregon is not complete without some camping.
Coquille Myrtle Grove State Park is both great and gorgeous, and it's in close proximity to Big Tree Campground, and Big Tree Campground is right by the Mountain Wells Trail. Summertime highs at Big Tree Campground mostly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Big Tree Campground.
