Branch offers some great whitewater. This campground is always a diversion. The Wind Creek Trail offers hiking at its best; paddling on Sandy River is so much fun. Summertime highs at Barlow Campground generally tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of
summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows at Barlow Campground through the wintertime generally descend into the 30's. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Barlow Campground. Not enough
hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Barlow Campground is right by the Mirror Lake Trail, and since you're here, you might as well check out Little Zigzag Canyon. The great local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Hiking
is a popular thing to do around Barlow Campground; Pioneer Bridle Trail is a delightful local trail; lots of people from Government Camp come here. There's more to do close to Barlow Campground other than just hanging out such as swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
