Take a hike on the Toiyabe Crest Trail, and Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park is a wonderful site to stretch your legs a bit. There's not that much to do in close proximity to Big Creek Campground but it is one of loads of wonderful campgrounds in this vicinity.
