  This camp ground is one of the brilliant spots to camp here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Vista Linda Campground gets very little rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. It's very unhealthy to be inside all the time; you have to get out every now and then, and Vista Linda Campground is a fine local campground if you happen to be in New Mexico.
What a place this is for outdoors folks. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jemez
    River, and a nice spot to stop at is Canon del Raphael Gallegos.
A magnificent sight of stunning Mesa de las Casas is available from Vista Linda Campground, of course you could also visit Lower Vallecito Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. A lot of people stay
at this campground when they come to have a look at Fenton Lake State Park.
If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If the weather is delightful here at Vista Linda Campground, you can go for a hike along the Palomas Trail, and tremendous skiing awaits you at Pajarito Mountain. Fenton Lake State Park is a glorious place to go if you're at Vista Linda Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Bland Bear Springs Trail.
