Vista Linda Campground, San Juan and Jemez Mountains, New Mexico

  Scores of people stay here when they come to stop at Fenton Lake State Park. The panorama of charming Mesa de las Casas near Vista Linda Campground is magnificent; there are some glorious whitewater spots on Jemez River. Everybody must go for a camping trip every now and then, and Vista Linda Campground in New Mexico is a really delightful place to spend some time.

Be careful coming to Vista Linda Campground, you might not ever want to go back home again. The snow is pleasant at Pajarito Mountain. This is such a scenic campground. While staying at Vista Linda Campground you could always explore Canon del Raphael
Gallegos; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Bland Bear Springs Trail. Fenton Lake State Park is a good spot to take a look at, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Padre Alonzo Trail.
And that's not all you can do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. The fine folks of Ponderosa like to hang out nearby, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Palomas Trail. Vista Linda Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among visitors from Ponderosa. Some of the things you can do here at Vista
 
Linda Campground are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's totally impossible to get bored.
High temperatures at Vista Linda Campground during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Vista Linda Campground night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. In New Mexico you never run out of outdoors entertaining things.
The glorious local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are wonderful causes to come. Vista Linda Campground is pretty waterless usually; August is when you get the most rain here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
