without first going for a hike along the Comales Trail. The tremendous variety of local attractions and so many things to do will definitely have you coming back over and over. So many entertaining things to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, too great to be true.
If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Pueblo de Taos; there's great hiking along the Divide Trail. Any time is a nice time at Upper La Junta Campground if you fancy the outdoors. When you're here at Upper La Junta Campground it's always fun
to pop by Coyote Creek State Park, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Upper La Junta Campground; Osha Trail is a wonderful local trail. As if Upper La Junta Campground wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
