Campground is a very well loved campground by the people of Chacon. Such a nice pick of attractions and such a great deal of things to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back time and again. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever wanna go

Nearby Policarpio Canyon is a brilliant place to go if you're at Upper La Junta Campground, and don't leave Upper La Junta Campground without first going for a hike along the Comales Trail. Lots of fun is at this campground. If you come at the right time of year, Rio Pueblo de Taos offers some perfect whitewater, and great hiking is available along the Divide Trail. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Sipapu, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Rio Grande. Go for a hike on the North End Trail, and folks from Chacon love to come here. Yeah, come up here to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for a magnificent time. Places
